Generic Dromaeosaurid by Anto009 Generic Dromaeosaurid by Anto009
Trying new feathering styles on my tablet. I decided to do a velociraptor based dinosaur but anatomic accuracy wasn't my main objective.

About 2-3 days (not intensive though)

As always constructive criticism is welcome c:

Holy crap, I do love this feathering style.
It feels like this dino may be the ancestors of modern-day robins.

Hmm, you should cousin, Dromaeosaurids and Birds have a common ancestor within the Paravians, but the Dromaeosaurids wasn't Bird's ancestors.

Thanks! I'm happy you like it
Every time I see a small bird like a robin or a sparrow I think that, and how deep down they could still be those killers they were millions of years ago. Shifty little twerps.

I love the colour scheme. It looks somewhat how I draw Elopteryx!
